A bit of physical activity is well known to enhance the quaility of life at any age and it’s never too late to start. It also offers the opportunity to make new friends in the local community.
At the Centenary Hall there is an activity on every weekday, which are always looking for new people to come along and participate in.
Monday;
Over 50’s table tennis - 10am - 11.30am
Tuesday;
Tai Chi - Intermediate 10 am - 11am, Beginners 11am - 12 midday
Badminton - 7.30pm - 9.30pm (speak to Jeannie for more details)
Wednesday;
Short Mat Bowls - 10am - 12 midday (turn up and play - £3)
Short Tennis - 1.30pm - 3.30pm (sponge ball, smaller rackets, smaller court)
Thursday;
Table tennis over 50’s - 1.30pm - 3.30pm
Friday;
Table Tennis Open play. Turn up and play, bring a friend or find an opponent on arrival - 2.15pm - 4.15pm. Up to 4 tables available, bats and balls provided (£1 an hour)
There is also league table tennis on Mondays between September and April for the more proficient.
